Jumi and the Magical Balloon

Jumi is my buddy. On day one of my masters degree, our course leader Hazel buddied up the local students with the foreign students and Jumi unfortunately got landed with me. We've also ended up sharing a space in our studio and so Jumi is the person I spend most of my time with in class.

Today we were messing around, trying to keep ourselves entertained while we waited to be filmed for a video which will unfortunately play during an exhibition. (Ugh!) Jumi's project is about lighting, so when I found these balloons with LEDs in them, I had to get her one. As part of her film, she wanted to be seen blowing one up, so we tried it out and I edited this picture for her.

I love it, and it will be an excellent reminder of my buddy.
